For our client, a boutique and growing events production company, we are currently searching for a Talent Buyer / Event Producer. Our client is a boutique events production company and a pioneering force in the creation of high-end, immersive music experiences at unique locations. With a decade-long history of hosting exceptional and unique music events the company has earned a reputation for producing unforgettable moments in the worlds of live entertainment. As this company is growing, we’re seeking a dynamic Talent Buyer/Event Producer to join the team.
About the role
We are looking for a Talent Buyer with an extensive US-based network and knowledge of diverse music genres to initiate new events and curate headline talent. The ideal candidate will have experience booking festivals or theatres and will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. This role requires a creative and commercial individual, a self-starter who can not only secure top-tier talent but also contribute to the overall success and growth of our client’s events. The overall goal of the company is to expand the flow of high-end events, aiming to increase the current event portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discover market potential and pro-actively conceptualise high-end music events
- Extend and maintain relationships with an existing network of talent agents, managers, and other industry stakeholders to curate and book headline talent
- Collaborate with the company’s founder to assist in event planning and execution
- Advance tour logistics and ensure seamless execution of events
- Contribute to venue concept development and production
About you:
- 2-5 years of experience in talent buying, event program curation, or related fields. Ideally, you have experience with event production as well
- A proven track record of booking diverse lineups for festivals, theaters, or similar venues
- Deep knowledge of music across various genres and eras
- Strong network within the music industry, including talent agents and managers
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create, conceptualise and seize opportunities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal supervision
