The Music Recruiters is one of the leading forces in recruitment and executive search in the music, media and entertainment sectors. We match professionals with companies in various industries including the music industry, media sector, entertainment industry, and any other company with ties to these industries. Our focus lies primarily on mediating mid to management-level positions on both permanent and contract basis.
Founded in 2019, The Music Recruiters operates under the vision that mediating specialized talent requires a well-connected and well-informed partner who can quickly adapt, understands the industry’s rhythm, and knows what’s happening in the sector.

Our Team
Pieter, the founder of The Music Recruiters, first encountered the music industry during his law studies. It was a moment of clarity for him: this is where my future lies. With a decade of experience in the creative sector, he established The Music Recruiters in 2019. Quickly earning a reputation as a trustworthy and specialized mediator in the industry, he frequently delivers lectures at colleges, universities, and other educational institutions about his work. Between 2013 and 2019, Pieter toured domestically and internationally as the bassist for his band, Zitakula.
Chelsea Holfland
Content and Community Manager
Chelsea is Content & Community Manager at The Music Recruiters. She now has a lot of experience as a Communication Professional/Project Manager and Streaming Manager at, among others, NPO 3FM. In 2021 she also founded her own playlist company Streaming Queen, which focuses on branding and music.
Rajko Acimovic
Consultant
Rajko is Consultant at The Music Recruiters. While studying Commercial Economics he came into contact with recruitment and gained experience as a Researcher in this field. As a Consultant Rajko focuses on scouting talent within the function groups marketing, sales, finance and specific sector positions. Rajko also runs his own event agency with which he organizes dance parties throughout the Netherlands.
