For Spinnin’ Records, we are looking for a Project Manager Partnerships/Events. In this role, you will work in the Partnerships, Events and New Business Department team. This department is responsible for all sorts of partnerships and events with 3rd parties, from artist endorsements, gaming partnerships to providing great music for commercials and media advertisements.

Spinnin’ Records is one of the world’s leading dance music label, with artists such as Alok, KSHMR, Mike Williams, Lucas & Steve, Gabry ponte, Lum!x and many more on its roster. They specialise in electronic music and manage the largest online dance community in the world with more than 50 million followers on social media. In addition, they have their own Youtube channel with Spinnin’ tv, counting more than 30 million subscribers and over 18 billion views. About the role:
When opportunities are identified and created as a project, you are in the lead of managing these projects. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to create project plans, ensure delivery against the plan, resolve risks and issues as they arise, and effectively communicate progress and risks. You can plan and prioritise the workload and ensure that internal and external stakeholders are meeting project deliverables and expectations.

You are responsible for:

  • Project Management in the broadest sense of the word; ranging from creating and overseeing project definitions, project planning and project execution:
    • Managing day-to-day operational aspects of projects to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and time
    • Facilitating and overseeing ongoing project needs and key deliverables
    • Creating project deliverables including status reports, communication plans, risk plans, and other related documents
    • Effectively communicating status updates and relevant information to internal and external stakeholders and senior management
    • Facilitating and guiding the project teams effectively
    • Resolving and/or de-escalating issues in a timely fashion
    • Managing stakeholder expectations.
  • You’ll perform an active role in obtaining Partnerships, Events and New Business opportunities
  • You’ll research and collect data, prepare documents and presentations as required for New Business Projects
  • You’ll inspire co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence
  • You carry out a project management role for multiple events, in the Netherlands and abroad and work with internal and external teams in delivering artwork, marketing campaigns, providing information to our partners and making sure all commitments are met in a timely fashion

About you:

  • You have approximately 3-4 years’ experience in dealing with project management, preferably in the Arts/Entertainment/Music/Media industry. We’re open for more junior candidates, as long as the candidate has relevant experience within project management in the creative media industries
  • You’re able to effectively apply project management methodology and enforcing project standards
  • You have proven success in turnaround of extensive and multileveled projects
  • You’re positive, social and are described as a ‘team player’ by others
  • You have great communication and presenting skills
  • You are proactive and able to work with deadlines
  • You are goal oriented, driven and have a strategic mindset with some documentation and writing skill
